Pete has over 25 years of experience working across a wide range of clinical environments, including complementary healthcare centres, community clinics, gyms, movement therapy studios, and Western medical GP practices.
He works with a broad range of conditions across pain, orthopaedic, neurological, psychological, immune, and endocrine health. His clinical interests include mental health, sleep disorders, traumatic brain injury, functional neurological disorders, and chronic pain and fatigue-related conditions.
Pete has extensive training in biomedical sciences, functional neurology, acupuncture, Tuina, Qi Gong, and cadaver-based anatomical study, with a particular focus on electrotherapy. His approach integrates these disciplines to develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each individual.

This initial consultation is a 75-minute one-on-one appointment designed to gain a clear understanding of your health and current concerns. The session includes a detailed discussion of your health history, along with any relevant physical or neurological assessment where appropriate.
From this, Pete will develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs, with your first treatment included as part of the session. The focus is on providing a clear, supportive pathway forward to help improve your health and overall wellbeing.
Standard Follow up Appointments
If you have previously seen Pete and are continuing your care, this appointment is for follow-up treatment. It is suitable when there are no new conditions requiring assessment and focuses on maintaining progress and supporting your ongoing health.
Tuina 75 min Treatment Available
Pete Larking is a Tuina practitioner with over 25 years of clinical and teaching experience. Tuina is a traditional form of Chinese manual therapy that uses a range of techniques to work with the body’s soft tissues, joints, and movement patterns. It is applied to support circulation, reduce muscular tension, improve joint mobility, and influence nervous system function. In clinical practice, Tuina is used to support recovery from pain, orthopaedic and neurological conditions, as well as to promote relaxation and overall balance.
Telehealth
Join Pete for an online Medical Therapy consultation, designed to support your health from wherever you are. This session includes a detailed discussion of your health history, along with a personalised assessment to guide your care.
Together, you will develop a tailored Medical Qigong programme, including clear guidance on practice, dosage, and progression to support your individual health goals. Sessions may also include instruction in postural integration, breath regulation, meditation, visualisation, and movement-based therapy.
Where appropriate, Pete will discuss relevant aspects of Chinese medicine, nutrition, and complementary applied functional neurology approaches to help you better understand your health and support your ongoing progress.
